The list01

What are the Trimoryn ingredients?

The Trimoryn ingredients are riboflavin, mangosteen, prickly pear, cinnamon bark, konjac fiber, alpha lipoic acid, turmeric, berberine, resveratrol extract, Bifidobacterium breve and Akkermansia muciniphila.

That is eleven lines but ten ingredient groups, because the two probiotics share one page. Each line below has its own page with the label amount, the amount used in research, the evidence rating and the main caution.

The Trimoryn label lines, in label order, with the amount printed for one capsule. The label has no proprietary blend: every line has its own amount.
Name on the labelAmount per capsuleAmount in researchEvidence
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)25 mg (1470% of the Daily Value on the label)Adult recommended intake is 1.3 mg (men) and 1.1 mg (women)A needed vitamin; no source found shows it helps weight 1

Openness02

Does Trimoryn use a proprietary blend?

No. Every line on the Trimoryn panel has its own printed amount, so there is no hidden blend.

A proprietary blend lists a total weight and hides the split. That makes it impossible to compare doses with research. Here you can compare, and the comparison is not flattering for every line. The total of the nine milligram lines is 442 mg a capsule.

  1. 1Riboflavin (Vitamin B2)25 mg (1470% of the Daily Value on the label)
  2. 2Mangosteen Powder100 mg
  3. 3Prickly Pear Extract Powder 4:1100 mg of a 4:1 extract
  4. 4Cinnamon Bark Extract 10:1100 mg of a 10:1 extract
  5. 5Konjac Extract Fiber (Std. 90% Glucomannan)50 mg
  6. 6Alpha Lipoic Acid25 mg
  7. 7Turmeric Extract (Std. 95% Curcumin)15 mg
  8. 8Berberine HCL15 mg
  9. 9Resveratrol Extract (Std. 20% from Polygonum Cuspidatum)12 mg of extract, about 2.4 mg if 20% is resveratrol
  10. 10Bifidobacterium Breve; Akkermansia Muciniphila1 billion CFU of each

From the Supplement Facts panel, in label order. Unlike many weight products, the label prints an amount for every line, and there is no proprietary blend. Other ingredients (hypromellose capsule, rice flour, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate) are not part of these lines.

Doses03

How do the label doses compare with studies?

The label doses are small next to the study doses we could check.

Cinnamon is 100 mg of a 10:1 extract against 2 g a day or more in pooled trials 7. Akkermansia is 1 billion against 10 billion 20. For others, such as mangosteen, the study dose was not on the label we could read, so we say so rather than guess 3.

Label vs studies

Cinnamon bark extract: label100
Cinnamon bark extract: study2,000
Akkermansia muciniphila (CFU): label1
Akkermansia muciniphila (CFU): study10

A pooled result is an average of many trials. It does not say that any one capsule will do the same for you.

Evidence04

How strong is the evidence for each ingredient?

Mostly weak or mixed. The strongest numbers are small, and several come from people with metabolic disorders rather than the general public.

Konjac fiber is the best known: pooled trials show about 0.2 to 1.3 kg difference, and NIH calls the effect little to none 8 9 21. Alpha lipoic acid showed about 1.3 kg more than placebo in short trials 12. Prickly pear showed no significant weight change 4. Berberine trials were mostly in people with metabolic disorders 16.

  2. Mangosteen powder100 mg
  3. Prickly pear extract 4:1100 mg
  4. Cinnamon bark extract 10:1100 mg
  5. Konjac fiber (90% glucomannan)50 mg

  8. Berberine HCl15 mg
  9. Resveratrol extract (20% from Polygonum cuspidatum)12 mg
  10. Bifidobacterium breve and Akkermansia muciniphila1 billion CFU each

Bars are drawn to the largest milligram line (100 mg). The probiotic bars are symbolic: CFU is a count of bacteria, not a weight, and the label does not say whether the count is at manufacture or at expiry.

Care05

Which Trimoryn ingredients need the most care?

Konjac fiber, alpha lipoic acid, cinnamon and berberine need the most care, mainly because of water, blood sugar and medicine questions.

  • Konjac fiber can swell and block; take it with a full glass of water 22.
  • Alpha lipoic acid can lower blood sugar; tell your provider if you take diabetes medicine 11.
  • Cassia cinnamon holds coumarin, linked to liver effects, and the label does not say which cinnamon it is 5.
  • Berberine is not for pregnancy or breastfeeding and may affect some medicines 15.
  • Turmeric and resveratrol may raise bleeding risk with blood thinners 14 17.

Ask your pharmacist before starting if you take any daily medicine. The full list is on the side effects page.

Other06

What else is in a Trimoryn capsule?

The capsule also holds hypromellose, which is the plant-based shell, rice flour, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.

These are not active lines. Rice flour is a filler. Silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate help powders flow. The label prints no allergen statement, so do not assume the capsule is free of any allergen. Ask the seller if you have a serious allergy.

Origin07

Where do the ingredients come from?

The label does not say. It prints no country of origin and no facility statement.

The seller badges mention an FDA registered facility and good manufacturing practice, but the label itself names neither. Registration is not approval 23. See the quality page for what each badge does and does not show.

FAQ08

Trimoryn questions people ask

How many ingredients are in Trimoryn?

The label has eleven lines. Ten ingredient groups, because the two probiotics are covered together on one page.

Does Trimoryn contain caffeine?

The label lists no caffeine and no green tea or coffee line. If a caffeine line were added, the label would need to show it.

Is the Trimoryn formula patented?

We found no patent statement on the label or in the sources we read, so we do not claim one.

What is the biggest Trimoryn ingredient?

By weight, mangosteen, prickly pear extract and cinnamon bark extract are each 100 mg. Konjac fiber is 50 mg.

Does Trimoryn have artificial colors?

The label lists no color. The other ingredients are hypromellose, rice flour, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.

Which ingredient is Akkermansia?

Akkermansia muciniphila is one of two probiotic bacteria on the label, at 1 billion CFU. The human pilot we found used 10 billion a day.
