Editorial Standards: How We Choose Sources, Write and Correct Trimoryn Pages

Quick answer

Every claim on this site is tied to the product label, a numbered public source or a plain statement that no source exists. We use government health agencies, peer-reviewed reviews and regulator notices. We quote marketing claims only in quotation marks and answer them with evidence. We correct errors openly and never promise a result.

Rules01

What rules do the Trimoryn pages follow?

Ten rules guide every page, and the check that builds this site fails if some of them are broken.

  1. The label comes first

If the label and a marketing page disagree, we print the label and flag the conflict.

  2. Every fact has a source

A number or a health statement carries a footnote, or it is the label itself.

  3. No result promises

We never state weight amounts, timelines or before and after outcomes.

  4. Marketing claims in quotes

A sales claim appears only in quotation marks, with the evidence beside it.

  5. Cautions beside benefits

Each ingredient lists who should ask a clinician first.

  6. Keep taking medicine

We never tell anyone to stop or change a prescribed medicine.

  7. Prices come from the order page

The packs run $79, $69 and $49 a bottle; the checkout shows the final total.

  8. No invented people

No made-up reviewers, doctors or ratings.

  9. Disclose commissions

Each page says we earn from orders.

  10. Correct openly

We fix errors and change the date.

Sources02

Which sources do we trust?

We prefer government health agencies, regulators and peer-reviewed reviews, in that order, and we read each page ourselves before citing it.

Source types and how we use them
TypeExamplesUsed for
Health agenciesNIDDK, CDC, NIH ODS, NCCIHWeight basics, supplement safety, ingredient facts
RegulatorsFDA, FTCHidden drugs, approval wording, reviews and endorsements
Peer-reviewed reviewsPubMed-indexed trials and meta-analysesWhat studies of each ingredient found
Case reportsPubMed-indexedSafety signals such as obstruction
The label and sales pageProduct images, sales pageWhat the product says about itself

We do not cite forums, shop pages, influencer posts or other supplement sellers. We exclude retracted papers. A single small trial is described as small, and a result in animals or cells is not described as a result in people.

Evidence03

How do we describe evidence?

We say what a study measured, in whom, and how big the effect was, and we say when the effect was too small to matter.

For example, one review of glucomannan found a pooled change of -0.22 kg that was not significant 1, and another found -1.27 kg, below the authors' own threshold for a clinical effect 2. We report both. We do not round a weak result up into a benefit, and we do not hide a safety signal because it is uncommon. Where research used a larger or different dose than the capsule, we say so.

The benefits page shows the same method line by line for the claims on the sales page.

Claims04

How do we handle marketing claims?

We quote them exactly, inside quotation marks, and set a plain answer beside each one.

  1. Label front“Weight Management Support*”Structure/function-style wording. The star leads to the FDA statement: not evaluated by the FDA, not intended to treat any disease. No source linked here tests this formula. 3
  2. Label front“Supports Fat Metabolism*”Single ingredients only: glucomannan -0.22 kg, not significant, in one pooled review; alpha lipoic acid about 1.3 kg more than placebo, short term. NIH says there is little scientific evidence that weight-loss supplements work. 1 4 5
  3. Label front“Promotes Energy & Well-Being*”Riboflavin is a needed vitamin; the sources we read do not show that extra riboflavin, or this formula, adds energy. 6
  4. Label front“Clinically inspired ingredients”Wording, not a result: it names no trial of the product. Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product. 7
  5. Common claim“Konjac fiber helps you feel full”NIH ODS says glucomannan has little to no effect on weight loss; pooled trials range from -0.22 kg to -1.27 kg. 5 1 2
  6. Common claim“Akkermansia is a weight bacterium”One pilot of 32 finishers, using 10 billion pasteurized bacteria a day, found weight down 2.27 kg versus placebo, not statistically significant. The label has 1 billion. 8
  7. Common claim“Cinnamon, berberine and ALA balance blood sugar”Evidence is mixed or limited, and each of the three can interact with diabetes medicines. NCCIH: research does not clearly support cinnamon for any condition. 9 10 11
  8. Common question“Can it replace diet and activity?”No. NIDDK puts a healthy eating plan and more physical activity first and advises working with a health care professional. 12 13

Claims as printed on the label; the sales page could not be read 14. Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product 7.

A quoted claim is not our claim. If a phrase would break our own rules when said in our voice, it can appear only in quotes and only with its answer. The FTC says endorsements must be honest and that fake reviews and testimonials are banned 15 16. We follow the same spirit.

Checking05

How are pages written and checked?

Pages are written by the Trimoryn label desk, checked by an automatic script and then read against their sources.

The script flags banned claims, missing sources, unverified prices, invented names, long sentences and missing cautions. A page that fails does not ship. A human then reads the page against the footnotes. A medical reviewer is planned and is a fill-in field until confirmed, as the about page explains. The writing aims at a Grade 7 to 8 reading level in US English, so that the safety points are easy to follow.

  • Short sentences and plain words.
  • Questions as headings, with the answer first.
  • Tables for comparisons.
  • One sources box per page.

Corrections06

How do we correct mistakes?

We fix them, change the date and, for a serious error, say what changed.

If you spot an error, write to the website email on the contact page with the page address and the line. We check it against the source. If you are right, we correct the page. If the source changed, we update the page. We do not remove cautions to improve a page, and we do not accept payment to change a page.

If a brand, a seller or an advertiser asks us to remove a caution, the answer is no.

Conflicts07

What conflicts of interest do we have?

We are a retailer, so we earn when you buy. That is a conflict, and we manage it in the open.

We say so on every page. We write the cautions first, we put the evidence limits in plain view, and we say when a supplement is unlikely to be worth the cost. NIH ODS says there is little scientific evidence that weight-loss supplements work 5, and we repeat that on the pages where it matters. If you decide not to buy after reading, the site has done its job.
