A pooled review of 12 trials found small drops in body weight, and the change in fat mass showed up at 2 grams a day or more for 12 weeks or longer 1.
That review covered 786 people. It is a count of trials, not of this capsule. The authors link the fat-mass finding to doses of 2 g or more, which is a different scale from 100 mg. Another summary says research does not clearly support cinnamon for any health condition, and that it is unclear whether supplements help with weight 2.
