That is an average across trials, not a promise for one person. The authors found no clear dose effect and wrote that the change was small and short term, with more research needed. The Memorial Sloan Kettering summary reaches a similar view, with "preliminary studies" and "mild" changes in overweight adults 2.

What are the limits of that number?
The number is an average, the trials were short, and none of them tested Trimoryn.
- The range ran from a quarter of a kilogram to over two, which is a wide spread.
- Trials used their own doses and forms, not this capsule.
- Short trials say little about months or years.
